Do you give the customer their negatives?
Of course!
Every package includes high quality, full resolution negatives of all
images with copyright privileges. Although the original artwork is mine
and I ask that you not sell your images for profit, you are welcome and
encouraged to print, enlarge and share any and all of your photographs!
Is retouching included in my package?
Each photograph will be color correction for maximum quality.
Art effects – hand coloring, tinting, etc. – will be applied to a handful of the best shots for free.
Because
post-production is so time consuming, additional retouching, including
complexion smoothing, blemish or object removal and requested artwork
can be purchased at $5.00 per photograph.
What can I buy with my “Print Credits?”
If
you purchase a package with print credits, you can use them for any
product I offer: prints, enlargements, framing, photo albums, scrapbook
pages, digital retouching, etc.
How many locations are included in my photo package?
I
don’t stick to a set number of locations per event. In my experience,
most weddings will include at least two. Tell me what you want and we’ll
work it out. I charge only for actual photography time, so if it takes
15 minutes to get to your reception from the wedding site, you’ll still
get that 15 minutes at the reception.
Do you charge for travel?
That
depends of how far we’re going. Most surrounding areas are not charged
for, but if you need to go a little further simply contact me for an estimate including mileage rates and any food or lodging costs that may incur.
When will you arrive? How much will you charge to stay longer?
I will be at your event at least 15 minutes early for any set up needed and will start taking pictures right away.
If your time is up but you’re still cutting the cake, staying a few extra minutes - for free
- is no problem. If you find you need even more time, you can always
purchase more. I charge $100 per hour for extra coverage on your
package. You can decide right there at the reception to extend your time
if you’d like.
How should I prepare for my photo shoot?
The best advice I can give you is BE HAPPY! Frustration, impatience and annoyance will all show in your photographs.
My
second tip: choose a venue that is well lit and has several options for
backgrounds. I’ll do my best to photograph anywhere, but can’t
guarantee the very best quality when conditions are out of my control,
including lighting, venue restrictions, photo subjects who don’t
cooperate, etc.
Digital or Film?
I prefer digital photography:
- I can take a lot more pictures!
- Digital images can be retouched to correct color, contrast, brightness, complexion smoothing, unwanted object removal, etc.
- You can share or reprint digital images easily.
If you desire film photography the costs will be a bit higher. Contact me for a film-only estimate.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A $200 deposit will hold your date.
Can we meet to go over details of our wedding or see more examples of your work?
Yes.
If you'd like to meet you can contact me any time. If an in-person
meeting doesn’t work for you, phone or email is no problem!
Who are you? How long have you been in business?
My
name is Tacie Wright. I fell in love with photography in high school
and college gave me new
opportunities to explore my creativity.
In January 2007, I created T. Wright Photography. With
the support of my wonderful husband I've been allowed to spread my
wings and fly. Every day I am able to do something I love. Each shoot is
a new adventure and I never get tired of meeting new people -- learning
who they are as I capture the emotion of their stories and make
beautiful art to be viewed and enjoyed for years to come.
